On Saturday, we stayed at Denise's house and finally slept in a little. We went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I could have spent all day there just wondering around. Here are a few of the pictures...

Next we went to the Art Museum on campus.

Walter Wick was one of the artists, and someone that really loves garbage was the other one we walked through.

This was just a pile of packing peanuts with large air blowers that would turn on and the peanuts would fly, weird.

PVC pipe, yes water was running in the sink. Just to give you an idea of size, Madison is 6 years old the pipes were floor to ceiling and wall to wall.

We had fun in this room, it was dark except for this wall. It was fluorescent light bulbs, that looked like they were burnt out. We wanted to know what would happen if you took a picture in it. We hoped it might look like a shadow wall in the picture, we were wrong. ugh.

Women's Conference

(Monica, Me, and Bonnie Mt Timp Temple grounds)

This last week I went up to Women's Conference. I had a great time, the time went by fast. On Wed Bonnie, Monica, and I left Vegas, we drove to Orem to see a play at the Hale Theater. The rest of our group was already there. It was called "As I Like You". Who knew that Shakespeare was funny! (Emily, Caryn, Denise, Me, Bonnie, Jeni, and Monica waiting in line)

After a couple of hours of sleep, the conference started on Thurs morning. Excellent speakers, beautiful weather, and great company. This year there were 7 of us that made it, between us we crocheted 11 scarves and 6 hair flowers during the sessions.(Denise, Jeni, Emily, Caryn, and Monica working on the last scarf)

We also participated in the evening of service, packing hygiene kits, followed by the concert. (Monica showing off her hard work)

It was a LONG day, but well worth it. Friday morning we started even earlier with less sleep, super speakers once again. The closing speaker this year was Elder L. Tom Perry. Watch for the rebroadcast on BYUTV, it is worth seeing more than once!

Does it make me old to be the same age as a buildling?
