tooth fairy needed!
Colin has been asking me for months and months to check for loose teeth.
After primary, he came running to me.
"Look Mom! It really wiggles!"
Has been playing with it all afternoon.
Wanted to wait to show his friends that his tooth moves.
Decided that was taking too long.
Pulled the tooth out himself.
All in one day!!!!!

At the Swapps cabin
(Martin, Dana, Monica, Scott, Colin, Marlo, Russell, Preston)
Over the 4th of July weekend we went up to the Swapps cabin with them. While we were there Russell, Scott, and the kids went fishing. While they were fishing Monica and I rode the Navajo Lake Loop.
They kids spent many hours catching chipmunks, playing with the sling shot, and playing games in Parowan after the parade. That night we went to Brian Head to watch the fire works.
Colin seaching for the coin in the sand.
The best part is you get really cool glasses at the fish pond!!
Got bored waiting for our dinner before the fireworks show.

It has been a long time since my last post, i'll try to remember some of the last few weeks they are mostly a blur in time. I'm sure this will not be in time order, but will be a record of some of the crazyness that has been happening.
Memorial weekend we decided on Sat night that we should leave town. Priceline to the rescue! It was to late to bid in for that night, so bid in for Sun night. We stayed in St George, laid by the pool, went shopping, and swam. It was a good trip, then again it is always good to get out of Vegas for a couple of days.
Spent a girls day taking Monica out for her birthday. We went to lunch, the movies, ate crepes, and went to the pin ball hall of fame.
One of the weeks, Russell had to work in Laughlin. So the boys and I drove down and spent the evening with him. Spent time in the pool, eating, and relaxing. Then the next moring we drove back, and met Russell back at home. It was a quick little trip the boys thought it was really cool to go.
Preston turn 10!! On Sat he wanted to go to the Pinball Hall of Fame so we went and dropped some quarter there for a couple of hours. Then Russell, Preston, Colin, Scott and Martin, and James and Justice went fishing. June 10th finally arrived and we took Preston out to dinner then back to the house for cake and ice cream.
The past few days we were back up in Utah. On Friday the 12 Russell and Erik went mountain biking most of the day. On Sat we spent he day at a family reunion, then played games at Shane's house. Sun ran around trying to visit everyone we could, then on Mon Denise and I hiked Stewart Falls. There was LOTS of water coming over, due to the rain that came several times over the weekend.

On Saturday, we stayed at Denise's house and finally slept in a little. We went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I could have spent all day there just wondering around. Here are a few of the pictures...

Next we went to the Art Museum on campus.
Walter Wick was one of the artists, and someone that really loves garbage was the other one we walked through.
This was just a pile of packing peanuts with large air blowers that would turn on and the peanuts would fly, weird.
PVC pipe, yes water was running in the sink. Just to give you an idea of size, Madison is 6 years old the pipes were floor to ceiling and wall to wall.
We had fun in this room, it was dark except for this wall. It was fluorescent light bulbs, that looked like they were burnt out. We wanted to know what would happen if you took a picture in it. We hoped it might look like a shadow wall in the picture, we were wrong. ugh.
Women's Conference
This last week I went up to Women's Conference. I had a great time, the time went by fast. On Wed Bonnie, Monica, and I left Vegas, we drove to Orem to see a play at the Hale Theater. The rest of our group was already there. It was called "As I Like You". Who knew that Shakespeare was funny!
(Emily, Caryn, Denise, Me, Bonnie, Jeni, and Monica waiting in line)
After a couple of hours of sleep, the conference started on Thurs morning. Excellent speakers, beautiful weather, and great company. This year there were 7 of us that made it, between us we crocheted 11 scarves and 6 hair flowers during the sessions.

We also participated in the evening of service, packing hygiene kits, followed by the concert.

It was a LONG day, but well worth it. Friday morning we started even earlier with less sleep, super speakers once again. The closing speaker this year was Elder L. Tom Perry. Watch for the rebroadcast on BYUTV, it is worth seeing more than once!

Does it make me old to be the same age as a buildling?
