Easter at Bass Pro

On Sat we went to Bass Pro for their Easter activities.

Colin did the egg hunt. They were hidden around the lower level of the store. Then he brought his eggs up, and spun the wheel for his prize. Colin kept laughing that they would put eggs on the shelves with stuff to buy. Preston was to old, how crazy does that sound, to do the egg hunt. Preston was able to go on a scavenger hunt instead. He thought it was cool to find and answer question about the items. He was all over the store.

Biking in St George area

This last weekend was hectic. Russell left town on Thursday to meet Erik (brother in law) and one of Erik's friends to bike Gooseberry Mesa. They bike Friday morning till they were soaked from the rain and snow. Then on Saturday they hit some other trails, received a few battle wounds.Russell had a great time!

On Friday Preston and Colin got to leave for their camping trip, in the trailer. Grandpa and Grandma Gifford invited them to camp with them. The boys had a great time hiking, playing in the mud, riding the bus, and playing on the play ground. We picked them up Tues night in Henderson. (Sorry no pictures, I wouldn't let Colin bring the camera. ha ha)

Saturday after I got off work I drove to St George to meet Russell. Went to dinner and the movies that night. On Sunday we went biking by Snow Canyon. We biked for a couple of hours.
Me vs. the hill

It was nice to spend some time together. We did some shopping. The only time schedule we had was to make it home before dark on Monday, because what's a vacation if there are no problems. Before dark? you ask. Yes, the head lights stopped working. All I can say it that i'm glad that it was covered under warranty.

Wetlands Park

We went for a little hike at the Wetlands Park. We saw a few birds, but not much else the weather was hot and windy.

Boys with a camera.....

A few days ago Colin asked if he could take a couple of pictures with my camera. I said "sure."

Translation in a 6 year old mind "take as many pictures of my toys so that I have an accurate record when something is missing. Plus once mom says that it is okay one time, take pictures whenever I find the camera."
This is just to give you an idea of the 60+ pictures that have now been deleted.
I must admit, it is funny to watch Colin take pictures. He lays on the floor or stands on chairs, places his toys in the correct lighting (guess that is what he is doing), and some of the pictures have a story that he tells with them.
